Final tally by district

In order to qualify for a public vote, we needed to collect signatures from 10% of the registered voters in every single one of BC’s 85 electoral districts, totalling over 312,000 signatures.

Our 90-day time limit ran out on December 9. We collected about 210,000 signatures. Here’s how we did in each district.

We succeeded in the following 20 districts, with over 10% of voters signing:

We came close in the following 5 districts, with over 8% signing:

West Vancouver – Sea to Sky

We got over halfway in the following 23 districts, with over 5% signing:

Delta South
Esquimalt – Royal Roads

Fraser – Nicola
Kamloops – North Thompson
Kamloops – South Thompson
Kelowna – Lake Country
Kelowna – Mission
Maple Ridge – Mission
